Since starting my curl journey in 2024 it's taken me 2 years to try this set, I've always put off buying it as I really didn't like the idea of shampoo/conditioner bars and I very much doubted that one curl product could give me the definition I wanted as my hair can be so unruly and prone to frizz. HOW WRONG I WAS!!! The first time I used them I was still doubting that they could contain all the cleansing and hydrating properties that my hair needed ( it's type 2/3b waves and curls) after being quite badly damaged from a recent colour treatment and although it felt unusual to shampoo and condition in this way, I could feel how lovely and clean it was after shampooing and then how silky it felt after the conditioning.
Because I have quite long hair I used 12 pumps of the custard in total and one pump for the smasters technique, it was very silky and spread well through my long hair. I found the cast quite gentle as it dried, not stiff but just a little crunchy and I can't actually believe that a simple custard could hydrate and define my curls so well! I usually have at least 3 steps in my routine, including a strong hold gel, but this custard beats my other favourite products, it's my new number 1!

I have tried soooo many ‘clean’ curly hair products and been disappointed over and over again but this is a game changer. I am amazed at the results and can’t wait to try the shampoo and conditioner!
I'm on my second bottle of this lovely curl custard. It smells lovely and has saved me money, as I now only need 1 product instead of several stages.
I use it as directed on wet hair after washing, but also as a curl reviver.
The photo is of my waves after 3 days post wash. I revive them by wetting my hands and applying a pump of custard with my wet hands through the hair. I also use it if necessary as a finisher for any flyaways after drying.
I'm going to stick with this custard as I love it so much.

After reading the reviews I thought I’d try the curly soap shampoo, conditioner and custard. It’s as amazing as everyone says! I have long red curly hair and it’s bounced back with a youthful vengeance! I only have to spritz a bit of water on it the next day and the custard recurls it again. Fabulous
I almost gave up on my waves and went back to straightening my hair because I just could not do the complicated routines and multiple products any more. Then I found Bean and Bee! Now I wash, condition and use the curl custard, brush and air dry and my hair is gorgeous. It feels healthy, it looks shiny and it smells great!
I wasn't to sure if I'd wasted my money on this product? Rest assured I LOVE IT! My hair the next day was smooth with no knots at all & I could of probably got away without even brushing it 😂 So far it's ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me

Gorgeous packaging and easy to hold and dispense. Smells like high end spa products gorgeous. Used through mid lengths and ends as my hair can be dry and knotty. It certainly detangled and left nice soft waves. Love it !
I like the simplicity of this set, the bars work really well, lathering easily, you don't need lots, so they last. The custard works as it says in the video, I have curly hair that takes a lot to wet and ages to dry so very frizz and fluff prone. I have shoulder length hair and use 12 pumps of the custard overall, if I put it on when my hair is wet through, make sure it squelches, then don't touch it at all until it's bone dry - it works. Liking this a lot!
Trying to embrace my naturally wavy hair rather than keep damaging it with straighteners and this product is helping with that. It smells lovely and works great!
My curls loved the shampoo and conditioner. The curl defining custard felt a little sticky on application (It recommended four to six pumps; I did 4) but once my hair naturally dried and I re-scrunched, I had beautiful soft defined curls. I would most definitely recommend these products.
I purchased this thinking there was no way one product could replace the four I’ve been using for years, but a friend assured me I needed to try it. And I was very pleasantly surprised when I was proved wrong; this custard is amazing and leaves my hair so, so soft. I’d been struggling with my curls in the heat, but no more, this is the answer to so many curl problems, as testified by myself and a couple of other curly friends. Try it, you will not be disappointed!
Wow, I'm super impressed with the Curl Custard. I've been using a well known curl brand for 3 years now but fancied trying something different and it appealed to just use one product instead of layering on three different products like I usually do. I After using the Curl Custard my curls are soft, shiny, very well defined and smell lovely. It also works really well on refresh days too and I managed to go 4 days between washes with a refresh each morning with one or two pumps of curl custard scrunched though damp hair. So glad I gave it a try.
My hair has never looked this wavy before, I love it! The curling custard is easy to use and the results are amazing, so easy to scrunch out leaving my hair feeling soft and bouncy. The shampoo bar is lovely, leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean and same with the conditioner bar. I'm so happy I found Bean and Bee :)
This product is excellent. I have never used soap shampoo or conditioner before, but it leaves my hair feeling soft, with no frizz, which is a first.
The curl cream, I use to top up the next day, just a small amount scrunched through hair to perk it up.
Curls stay in for days.
Very happy to have at last found affordable products for curly hair which actually works.

I have only used the curl custard once and absolutely love it! Using just one product for the routine makes my life so much easier. The product doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. Good hold. Used a small amount for refresh days and it worked perfectly.
Absolutely awesome. Before I used to shampoo, condition, towel dry, leave in condition, curl cream, diffuse dry, add oil and hairspray. What a faff,but it kept away 90%of frizz. Now I wash and condition, add curl custard, leave or diffuse dry. Scrunch the casts to beak and Ta dah job done and far superior bouncy glossy curls. Just brilliant
Lovely product, smells divine, and no allergic reactions. I'm new to having curlier hair as this has developed after the menopause so I'm still learning - but still pleased with what my low skill level has achieved so far! I'll definitely be buying more of this product!
Really like this shampoo bar so far! I live in a very hard water area so always have to shampoo twice to get any lather, but impressed with the lather I can get from this bar. It's gentle but leaves my hair and scalp feeling very clean. After conditioning my curls feel bouncier and more "structured" than usual (not actually sure why this is - maybe it's removing buildup better than my previous shampoo bar?!). Photo shows day 3 hair that's been slept on, windswept, and crushed into a hood - but still going strong! Only tiny criticism is that I find the bar a little hard to hold in my hand in the shower, but still highly recommend and will definitely look into more Bean and Bee products :)

I love the smell. The hols is not quite strong enough for me between washes. I end up with more frizz than worn other products, but I use a little of the product with some water between washes and it very much does the job. Has seriously helped my itchy scalp.
I've not used the shampoo yet. The conditioner is nice and feels soft on my hair and I love the curl custard. It doesn't feel heavy at all and leaves hair soft and bouncy with no residue. I use a Bambon and put my hair up every night to sleep and my curls lasted 4 days with the cast the curl custard made which is pretty good going. It also didn't cause my hair to mat and tangle like some other products I've used. Overall I'm pretty impressed. Like I say I'm yet to use the shampoo bar it smells great but its minty and I'm a bit worried it might dry my hair out but if it's as good as the other products I think it will be ok, I bought the gentle shampoo bar for that reason. I would recommend these products 💗

The first thing I noticed was that it smells amazing! I’ve never used a shampoo bar before but it was really easy to use. Everything felt so soft, even my neck and shoulders where the conditioner had got onto my skin. And not to mention that they are completely natural. I think the pictures say it all, and I’ve only used it once. My hair feels so soft and is not one bit frizzy. It’s brilliant. Definitely recommending to my curly haired work colleague who has also been struggling with frizz.
This was my first time using a bar to wash my hair, I thought my hair would turn out dry but it feels super soft yet! The curly custard worked amazingly- it's lightweight yet still holds the curl well- my hair routine is usually really complicated with various different products but this time I just used the shampoo and conditioner bar a long with the curl custard and super impressed with the results and also how quick it all took, all eco friendly which is a win win x

I’ve been using the curling custard for years and LOVE it but this is the first time I’ve tried it with the shampoo and conditioner…not sure why it’s taken me so long, they are, of course, amazing! My hair loves this stuff. The photo is day two curls, literally nothing needed but a single pump of custard to glaze the still perfectly balanced; clean and bouncy yet moisturised and defined curls! I’ve tried other shampoo/conditioner bars and they’ve never felt clean or lathered up, only leaving my hair sort of greasy but this one works better than any bar or bottled product! Once again thank you so much for your brilliant products, my curls are very grateful!
