Bean & Bee: Our Humble Journey from Everyday Hair to Running a Business

Hey there, I'm Sharon, the passionate founder of Bean and Bee, and I'm thrilled to take you on a journey through the heart of our brand.

I'm a PhD biophysicist with a passion for all things green. Three years ago, my search for an eco-friendly haircare routine for my wavy hair left me with nothing but plastic-packed, heavy, and lackluster products. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and create something that worked for me - and for our planet.

I wanted natural waves without the frizz - gorgeous defined curls that shone but didn’t look greasy or weighed down.

There wasn’t anything out there.

Stuck with dull hair and no solution in sight, I dove into the world of hair science, tirelessly seeking the ideal haircare solution. The search led me to explore the macro-molecular structure of hair, and finally, a light bulb moment hit me - why not create my own hair care solution? And so, Bean & Bee was born!

From the outset, I knew that Bean and Bee's mission would encompass all hair textures, from waves to curls, kinks, and coils. My unwavering commitment to values led me to ensure that every creation was responsibly sourced and packaged sustainably.

This wasn't about offering just another 'green' product; it was about crafting the ultimate haircare solutions for wavy and curly hair that deliver real results while upholding our planet-friendly ethos.
