STEP 1: CLEANSE

Get things going by wetting both the shampoo bar and your hair. Give the bar a little rub between your hands to activate its cleansing power.

Rub that activated shampoo bar directly onto your hair, then dive into a scalp massage to work up a luscious lather. Rinse it all away with warm water. Need an extra cleanse? Repeat for an extra clarifying cleanse if your hair needs it.

STEP 2: CONDITION

Activate the conditioner bar with a splash of water. Glide it over your clean, wet hair, focusing on the lengths and ends. Adjust the amount to match your hair type – you're the boss here!

Embrace the 'Squish to Condish' technique by lightly splashing water onto your conditioned locks—just a quick wet, no full rinse yet. Then, indulge in a gentle scrunching session until your strands feel silky and smooth. Rinse with warm water, detangling as you go.

STEP 3: STYLE

Pump out 3-4 dollops of curl custard into your palms, rub them together, and smooth the custard all over your hair like you're creating a ponytail. Comb it through for even coverage, then scrunch, scrunch, scrunch! If your curls are thirsty for more, feel free to pump out a bit extra – we usually recommend using 8-10 pumps in total. Keep on scrunching until your curls have formed into separate clumps.

STEP 4: DRY & GO

Wrap up those wet curls in a t-shirt towel for about 20 minutes to lock in the goodness. (This is called ‘plopping’!) Notice a little crunchy cast forming? No worries, it's just part of the process! Once the clock's up, let your hair down and then either air dry or diffuse dry your hair (our curl custard is designed to work with both drying methods!) For maximum volume and minimum frizz, our personal favourite method is to give your hair a quick diffuse until it's about 80% dry, then let it air-dry the rest of the way. Once fully dry, gently scrunch to reveal those soft, defined, happy waves and curls!
