Bean and Bee

Zig zag recylced soap dish by mull club (Broca)

Zig zag recylced soap dish by mull club (Broca)

The perfect accompaniment to your Bean & Bee bars, the zig zag soap dish (made by the wonderful mull club) really will help prolong the life of your bars! These soap dishes are made from a plastic blend, mainly from Broca Cafe, which is based near mull club in South East London.

You'll be able to see the milk bottle cap colours coming through with the blue and green being some of the most prominent colours.

The plastic is hand delivered, on foot further minimising the carbon footprint of the recycled plastic.

Each soap dish is the equivalent to approximately 2 large milk bottles and the lids worth of plastic.

Whilst the Zig Zag is stunning, it was chosen for practical reasons. This shape will hold your soap above the draining water, keeping it as dry as possible, and ensuring your soap lasts.

Every dish will be slightly different and unique to you, as no dish is the same.

How to use

Wet the shampoo bar in warm water and rub it together in your hands to activate it. Then rub the bar over your head and the lengths of your hair, creating a lather. Massage the lather into your scalp and through the lengths of your hair and then rinse with water. If you just love lots of lather, or if you are living in a very hard water area, then feel free to shampoo twice!

How to store

To increase the life of your bar allow it to dry out fully between uses. We recommend either storing your bar on a piece of loofah in a soap dish, using a draining soap dish, or leaving your bar to dry out on a flannel.

Once you are nearing the end of your bar and you have little pieces left, we recommend putting the pieces in a sisal soap bag so you can still use every last bit! (The shampoo bar will still be able to lather through the bag)

Packaging

Our shampoo bars come wrapped in a 100% recycled card belly band, and are printed in our workshop using eco ink. The ingredients labels and batch labels we use are also made from recycled paper.
